Building The Infrastructure that Powers the World of AI from the Philippines

YCO Cloud’s digital infrastructure platform, designed for hyperscale and nano cloud deployments, anchors the Luzon Economic Corridor to deliver next- generation infrastructure

As global demand for digital infrastructure continues to be at an all-time high, hyperscalers and data center investors are asking a new set of questions – where can we find massive, secure, sustainably-designed, industrial-grade, utility-ready land for fast data center development?

The answer -- the Philippines.

And YCO Cloud, with our strategic partnership with Science Park of the Philippines (SPPI) -- the pioneer, multi-awarded and largest private industrial park developer in the country with over 1,500 hectares developed/under development -- is unlocking it.

YCO Cloud’s in-house design and development expertise delivers purpose-built, greenfield, world class data centers powered by renewable energy to host tenants for colocation or custom engineered as Built-To-Suit (BTS) or Function-To-Suit (FTS) data centers according to hyperscalers’ stringent specifications.

YCO’s digital infrastructure platform is backed by an inventory of hundreds of hectares of industrial-grade and infrastructure ready land in SPPI’s gated, highly secure and PEZA-registered industrial parks which offer fully enabled sites with supporting infrastructure, including independent water supply, wastewater management, security and fiber corridors.

By choosing YCO Cloud, hyperscalers can skip years of delays and focus on what they do best – scaling their cloud and AI infra.

YCO Cloud anchors the Luzon Economic Corridor – An Emerging Hyperscale Data Center Hub for the Philippines

Where the land sits matters.

Our sites anchor the Luzon Economic Corridor (LEC), a strategic infrastructure initiative backed by the Philippines, US and Japan. The Luzon Economic Corridor is the main artery of the Philippine economy with 21 infra projects approved and a total of 43 under consideration.

Up north is Subic Bay which sits in Bataan/Olongapo/Zambales and Clark Global City in Pampanga. Down south is Calabarzon which goes all the way to Batangas.

Sandwiched in between is Metro Manila -- 16 highly urbanized cities and 1 municipality which forms the National Capital Region. More than 50% of the country’s economic output is generated along the LEC with over 1,600 PEZA-registered companies operating in 137 ecozones producing over 56% of total commodity exports.

Benefits to Hyperscalers

Hyperscalers who choose YCO Cloud’s Hyperscale Data Center Platform hit 3 birds with one stone:

  1. Locate within the LEC ecosystem to serve their biggest Philippine customers needing cloud computing and AI services,
  2. Access to an abundance of skilled talent as majority of the country’s IT and engineering graduates and practitioners are located in the LEC and,
  3. Take advantage of the redundancies, development and modernization in LEC -- from industrial zones expressways, bridges, freight and passenger rails, airports, ports, to clean energy, semiconductor supply chains, logistics, industry, manufacturing, agribusiness, technology, top schools, fiber and submarine cable infrastructure, to serve the entirety of the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and the rest of the world.

Highly Accessible from Airports, Seaports, and Cable Landing Stations

Our sites are all less than an hour’s drive from the nearest 3 international airports -- Clark International up north, NAIA in Metro Manila, and the upcoming New Manila International Airport in Bulacan – and is also a breeze to drive from/to via our expressways from Metro Manila’s Commercial Business Districts. The modernization and expansion of airports, seaports, highways and rail, including cable landing stations are on the way.

And this is why our 100% flood-free site inventory consisting of hundreds of hectares are located up north in Bataan, Clark Global City and down south in Batangas – a great North and South Luzon location combination.

Competitive Power Costs

Contrary to common belief, the Philippines is no longer among the most expensive countries when it comes to industrial power costs.

Electricity costs in the Philippines are trending downwards with all-in power rates currently at $0.11/kWh for ultra-large data center users which can be further optimized through competitive power bid processes or direct power purchase agreements.  In contrast, Singapore’s power rates are now at $0.27/kWh, Malaysia at $0.13/kWh (since the pullout of government subsidies), and Thailand at $0.12/kWh (with partial government subsidies).

In addition, renewable energy sources are highly abundant in the Philippines, giving hyperscalers a higher renewable energy mix, even up to 100% renewable energy.

Supporting 2 New Laws – Konektadong Pinoy and the eGov Act

YCO Cloud’s Hyperscale Data Center Platform directly supports 2 new bills from the Philippines – the Konektadong Pinoy Act (Senate Bill No. 2699, lapsed into law August 24, 2025) and eGov Act (Republic Act No. 12254, September 5, 2025) bills by building the mission-critical infrastructure for government right here from the Philippines.

The Konektadong Pinoy Act liberalizes the data transmission sector, opening the door for more players to expand affordable, high-speed internet across the country and bridge the digital divide. Complementing this, the eGov Act institutionalizes digital transformation in government, mandating online platforms, inter-agency data sharing, and citizen e-services to make governance more efficient, transparent, and accessible. Together, these landmark laws lay the groundwork for a truly connected Philippines.

Aligned with this vision, YCO Cloud provides the critical infrastructure that powers this transformation, by enabling nationwide access to cloud and AI technologies that power e-government services, secure data sovereignty, ensure faster, more reliable digital delivery to every Filipino and enable seamless movement of data across borders.

Proof in Action: Malvar One

In our Malvar campus in Batangas (inside SPPI’s Light Industry & Science Park IV), we have 75 MW of utility power available to us now (and expandable). Our flagship build is Malvar One, a dual global-certified 30 MW powered core and shell built and energized in record time to hyperscaler specs. It is energized, certified, and designed for sustainability. This is proof that the Philippines can host world-class hyperscale infrastructure at scale and speed.

The Philippines is ready -- The Time is Now

The timing could not be better.

At YCO Cloud, we see our role not just as builders of facilities but as partners in hyperscale strategy.  We do the heavy lifting to pre-solve and clear the path for hyperscalers: secure large, contiguous tracts of land in world class industrial parks with pre-built utilities, energize power, integrate sustainability and deliver hyperscale-grade core and shells so hyperscalers can deploy faster, safer and with greater confidence and peace of mind.

With YCO Cloud’s singular focus on delivering mission-critical infrastructure and SPPI’s proven track record in industrial park development, we are creating a platform that allows hyperscalers to build and grow in the Philippines, not only to serve 120 million Filipinos, but also to serve as the strategic digital gateway to the 650 million citizens of Southeast Asia.
